Angela Blake discovered the beauty and complexity of cultured Freshwater Pearls while spending time in the Philippines between 1997 and 2000. These pearls were born in the lakes and rivers of Asia and handcrafted into innovative pieces of fine jewellery at their homes in Tasmania.

elegant and unusual, and draws on the destinations she visits for inspiration. Her design studio overlooks the Derwent River in Hobart. surroundsand relaxed but privileged lifestyle. I am very lucky to live and design here.'
Angela'sjewellery incorporates different combinations of freshwater pearls, coral, soapstone, jade, amethyst, lapis lazuli, lava and shell based beads with sterling silver clasps.
