I am a handloom weaver, and after 30 years, still have an endless passion for making cloth - a wondrous transformation of yarn into fabric, for scarves, shawls and blankets.

I use mostly natural fibres (Australian wool and cotton) on an 8 shaft Jack loom, made in Tasmania, of Tasmanian timber.

I liken my weaving to painting with yarn, and each piece reflects something I have heard, dreamt or seen: perhaps a feather, a tempestuous sky or a field in harvest.
