This item is made of French oak wood recycled from five or more vintages of cabernet, pinot, shiraz or merlot wine.

Only selected French white oak trees, grown for at least 125 years, are harvested, split and sawn into ‘clear’ wood without knots or faults for barrel production.  I believe Wood of such quality and character deserves a better future than to rot slowly as a planter tub.

This piece was finished with grape seed oil, which is food-safe and allergy free. Please enjoy your purchase.
